If you want to grow your business you will need to employ staff.
And having and managing staff is a subject on it’s own.
They can make or break your business.
They can allow you to sleep or give you endless sleepless nights.
But just like cooking it’s all about the preparation.
Before you employ your staff you’ll have to decide on their exact role.
And how much will you pay them?
You’ll need to create an interview process.
Make sure you’ve got several candidates.
Take legal advice.
It might sound too obvious, but never employ anybody who’s late for their interview.
Ask them to tell you about your business- they should have done some research.
Prepare a legal employment contract.
And remember that it’s easier to get rid of them earlier in their employment.
If you are having doubts about them – you’re probably right.
Beware of taking on family and friends as employees- it might ruin your relatioship.
Your business isn’t your hobby- it’s your livelyhood.
